Nikon f90x e focusing screen
Thankfully, the kit included two plastic shims and adding one of them was enough to compensate for it. My particular camera had two metallic shims underneath the stock screen, but they were not enough for a new screen and it back focused. Installing the screen is pretty simple, you just have to be very carefull and take your time. Now I can also forego looking at the green dot for a focus confirmation, because the split image and microprism focusing is pretty much dead on, even with 50mm f/1.4. It's not that I couldn't focus manually before, but the speed and accuracy I now can achieve is amazing, especially in difficult lighting. I have just finished installing a K3 screen from into my trusty D700 and I simply can't believe I have waited for so long to pull the trigger on it! I mean, the difference in focusing is simply stunning. If you want to sell a lens or camera, use /r/photomarket instead.
